 @ cvg

TKE: do you have a link where the icon could go to? i.e. the Xbox one goes to http://profile.mygamercard.net/nickname

If you can find a decent, username based URL as well as an icon, I'll add it. :)

Well, even one that's not username based will do to be honest (i.e. like an ID).

I know of some forums there are plug-ins to change a word of choice to something else (say "shit" to "crap" or "****").

For shits and giggles perhaps changing "FWD" or "Front Wheel Drive" to "Wrong Wheel Drive."

Has someone here been tinkering with my account, because whenever I try to open the forums logged in Firefox slows down to a crawl, but when I access the forums without logging in, it works fine.

We're finally gonna need a car where we're going.

What you need to do is change your password to comply with 128-bit encryption rules, do not write it down as there might be a leak somewhere in your house. Then clear your cookies and try again.

I think it was a bug in the forum software (dunno for sure). Let me know if it's all better now.

There's a "mark forums read" button ? YAY!

Is this temporary or permanent?

Umm, it's been there ever since we switched to vB. It's located at the bottom of the main page of the forums and under the "Quick Links" dropdown.

Damn! It seems it was just a glitch I had. I'm having some issues with this forum today, pages load slow or not at all. And suddenly, I had a link saying "mark forums read" in the red menu bar above (the one that says "User CP" and stuff). I swear I had it, and it worked. But now, it's gone again, so I guess it was a software error. Too bad, as this was the one very button I've been asking for some time ago.

As I said, it's located under the "Quick Links" dropdown. ;)
Yeah I know, and I usually use that. It's just that I use an iMac where I am right now, and it takes about 10 seconds to open that menu (because it's a Mac).

Anyway, I just checked my browser history and just found what you said: after the search id, it says "&nojs=1#usercptools". This does exatcly what I wanted it to do. Still, there's another problem I suppose:

when I make a search for new posts by a link stored in my bookmarks, I can add that bit. But what if the search result is on more than one page? As soon as I click on page 2 then, the "nojs"-addition will be gone, and I'll have to stick with the menu. Am I right, and if so, is there any way to permanently integrate that into my acitivities here?
