Forum Suggestions/Issues

Doing an unscheduled database repair- a sync table that is used to redirect old vBulletin urls to XF is having issues. Might encounter some slow-downs.

I'm sometimes experiencing some random flickering on my laptop screen, which only ever happens when visiting the forums. I have no idea what this is about. I use the light theme.

Did we have a few hours of downtime today or was it something on my end/my ISP’s end?

Same here.

Datacenter power outage, not sure why this is a thing when they should have generators and backups..
The only explanation is an Oceans-style heist of someone else's casino/bank data.

I tried pasting a photo to a post and got this:
"Oops! We ran into some problems.
The upload failed because the temporary directory was missing. The site administrator will need to resolve this before any files can be uploaded."

Strange, don't see any occurrences in the log for that, nor can I reproduce it. Does that happen to every image, or was it just that one specific?

Was the photo a panoramic photo? I know the forum photo host thing doesn’t like those.

That's interesting: if I try to upload the unmodified picture, it gives me an error. If I try the same picture after automatically correcting the lighting, it goes through without problems.
It doesn't seem to be a filesize issue since another image of the same size uploads without any issues.

Uploading from phone or computer? Also what file extension is the original unmodified?

This morning from 3am AEST until I fell asleep some time after 4am, I was getting a 503 error.
