Does it still have the 7.5 or did they put an 8.8 in it?Picked up a new beater. '87 Cougar with a mildly crammed '92 5.0 engine and t5. With a nice loud exhaust. Figure 3400lbs and maybe 240hp. Good torque for what feels like a real high axle gear. Approximately 250% more umph than my old Volvo wagon.

It's a 2004 with a 2003 ECU, but with intake/header/exhaust; I'd expect it to be closer to 2400-2500 lb given the lighter engine and lack of AC.Where do you think you're at? 2700lbs and 200+ hp? I don't remember if you said what year your engine is.
