Forza Motorsport 3

I dont understand what was so bad about the snake tracks, it was a good mix or corners, and i LOVED the multiple switchbacks.

Not that it was my favorite, but a circuit is a circuit is a circuit, right? I mean i HATED tsukuba, and thats a world famous track.

Lotus on Amalfi, with a very cautious driver.

As for the tracks if all the rumors that out there are true (as nearly all of them have been) we should be getting 4 tracks as DLC as well as nearly 80-120 cars. I think it's safe to say most of the tracks we'll be getting will be real-world, and I think the community has made it known that Spa, Bathurst, Monaco are ones they want. I think it's be nice to see Spa, Bathurst, Nurburgring F1, and Willow Springs. Monaco is a nice idea, but it's be hard to model and gather information for, on top of that it's so tight it would be restrictive in gameplay and more so online.

I hated Tsukuba for a while too, then I just sat down and did like a 50 lap race their and got all the braking points and exit points down. It's a track has odd braking trajectories and really favors trail braking.

The problem INMHO is that there were too many Test Tracks (a.k.a snake tracks) and you spent half the game on them. The tracks themselves were fine but where they were placed was boring. Dry plants and sand, yellow everywere with a touch of brown and not too many visual references or eye-candy.

EDIT: BTW is Amalfi finally a stretch of road or a fictional closed circuit?

Amalfi is a closed circuit, but it also has a 10km point-to-point rally stage.

Wasn't it 12? Quite long anyway.

I quite like Tsukuba actually. Thought it had a nice flow.

And by god I hope Spa is coming out as DLC! That'd really bump the game from a potential "great" to a potential "awesome" for me :D

I don't get all the Spa love, the track only has one really interesting corner. I'd rather have Bathurst or some other Aussie tracks. There are lots of tracks in the UK other than Silverstone that would be worth having too.

Yeah, just found it. Had to do laundry between searching. Won LeMans four times, hope we also see the competitors of the age too.

My dreams of some vintage Italian pornography have been well exceeded.

on a complete side note and tangent...I just saw some release figures for GT5 on Gamestop that had the release date at February of 2010.

If that's true...that'd be over 5 years between Gran Turismo titles...

To put that in perspective... All of the Beatles' albums from Help! to Let it Be were released in a shorter time span than that.

So that includes Help!, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Abbey Road, and Let it Be.

All of that came out quicker than it has taken Polyphony Digital to release one video game.

Just made me laugh :p

^True, but the Beatles didn't need to put in much effort in the making of their music though! :p

Yeah, I watched the trailer this morning and was like screw the 458, I know I saw a 250 Testarossa, I know I did!

Here's just one of many offscreen videos on Amalfi, Fujimi Kaido, and Nurburgring. Cars include C-class DTM, 997 GT3, California, Esprit, and Lancer.
