finally got around to playing it the other night and played a little more this evening. Had to set up a new Xbox account recently because of moving to the UK from Switzerland (an Xbox points and memberships bought in the UK wouldn't work) annoyingly all of my designs can't transfer over into Forza 4 on my UK account, the same with the cars I was gifted. Also found it frustrating that there is no mode to have a clear Top Gear track so that you can powerslide through Hammerhead the wrong way.

Other than those 2 annoyance I'm really liking the game. Spent a lot of time with the Cee'd and Liana around the TG track with Kinect head tracking which is really good fun.

Really tempted to get a Fanatec GT2 or CSR wheel but cant quite justify the price that much.

If your old account is still active (again, not sure if this works without gold), you should be able to "gift" the decals from one account to the other, so long as they're unlocked.

did briefly give it a go the other night but it was saying couldn't connect to server, might have been because dont have Gold or servers might have been busy (had a problem getting some DLC). But I'll give that a try again at the weekend.
 
is it just me or does this game feel so much . . . . better than FM3?

the way the cars handle, all the top gear stuff, the sound, the lighting.

just seens so much more complete than FM3 ever did.
 
I'm enjoying it so far. MUCH better than Forza 3. In fact this is what Forza 3 should have been from the very beginning.

The feel of the cars is still a little bit strange compared to GT5. Big improvement with the graphics and specially the interiors.

BTW anyone has an Honda CR-Z to share?? :(

I was expecting to test my car in-game but was a US pre-order only car. I only got the MINI Clubman as a pre-order :(
 
I really like the affinity system giving free upgrades. It enables you to use daft cars in higher class races that you couldn't have done in FM3 because it would have been too expensive to try and tune them up.

I concur. Also, the cash bonuses for higher level affinity are pretty sweet too.

"Yay, I made almost 9,000 from that race since I didn't do any damage. And Ford decided to send me 35,000? Well damn! Guess I'll keep driving my cossie!"

Lol yeah... Ford has been especially nice to me. They're where most of my money comes from, and I love my Escort anyway.
 
Alright, I shared the Puggo RCZ. I gave it an AWD conversion and tweaked it out to B500. Tuned it a little, but if you have any suggestions, would love to perfect this.
 
Has anyone noticed black squares where cars should be in the Club Shared Cars?

Also, I reckon we should have a Club Thread to avoid clogging this one up.

It's a two-edged sword, that... I quite like the freedom it gives as far as tuning goes, but on the other hand it takes away the challenge of trying to spend your hard earned cash wisely.

That said, the whole career mode doesn't really have the budget challenge left since you are given new cars which are pre-tuned to top of their given classes already so you never really need to tune anything unless you want to. I've bought a few cars and tuned them up just for laughs but that's about it... Also, you can make ridiculous amounts of cash for the career mode in the rivals mode.

Oh, and just to maintain consistency in my posts, I still hate the pad steering. A kingdom for a steering sensitivity setting! It would improve the game sooooo much.
