Top Gear magazine have done it again! They've included a stunning promo DVD for the new Jaguar XK and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage with the latest issue.

The DVD, which is shot in the Top Gear style (close-ups of design details faded in and out, speeded-up clouds, occasional dark corners) features laps of the 'Ring, roadtesting, interior shots as well as behind-the-scenes featurettes.

On both promo films, it sounds like Richard Hammond may be narrating but in the Aston V8 section there is a shot of a bespectacled Aston engineer and Sabine driving around the 'Ring.

She "interviews" him (I use that word lightly) about the V8's stats and, based on this, I sure hope she doesn't replace JC in the next season of TG.

Anyway, the overall structure of the DVD is as follows:

I wonder if these films will be the basis for the Season 7 reviews of the Jaguar XK8 and Aston V8?

Sounds great! I'm just wondering can I get a DVD with my TG- mag, as I live in Finland? It really sucks if I can't.. Have to wait for the rip then..

No problem. There are now 8+ seeders so you guys should be able to pick up a copy fairly quickly...
