down another 5 cents for petrol and 3 cents for diesel

hovering around 1.20ish for petrol and 0.97ish for diesel

Just paid $1.95/gal. for mid grade (89) at my local convenience store.

Filled my wife's minivan last night at the grocery for $1.78/gal for 87 octane. (another 10 cents off using my shoppers card).

Petrol is below the $1 mark!!! :thumbup:

99.9 at Coles Express Gawler, and Golden Grove and other sites such as BP and Caltex in the northern suburbs.

Put Petrol in yesterday for 1.15 Euro the litre. Diesel would have been 1.13 Euro per litre.

Colleague told me he got Petrol for 1.12 on Sunday though ...

$0.33/Liter 92 octane
$0.45/Liter 95 octane

Huh... Diesel is still $1.49 for me.

Bit better than the $2 I thought I'd be paying six months ago though.

Well apparently the major service stations (Coles Express, Caltex, Mobil, etc) are making a loss on the sale of ULP at 99.9 as it's being sold at around 8-9 cents below the cost price, and therefore they're keeping the diesel price relatively high to recover costs.

Yeah... can't believe it's under a dollar! They said it wouldn't happen until Christmas. It came early! :D Shame I have to fill up with Premium..
