V8 Supercars 3 is the latest edition of the long-running series that's famous for providing the most exciting wheel-to-wheel racing action on console and PC.

V8 Supercars 3 takes the variety of motorsport experiences available in V8 2 and expanding on it even further, so no matter what your taste in racing, you'll find something to suit you.

Featuring the British GT championship, series stalwarts the DTM and Aussie V8 Supercars, Sprint Cars, Rallying, and open wheel racing all the way from karts to the BMW Williams Grand Prix Cars, and much more V8 Supercars 3 has something for everyone.

Race on tracks from all over the world, take the story-driven "world tour" mode if you want to get straight to where the action is, or for the people wanting the nuts and bolts, take the "Pro Career" mode and work you way up the ladder in different disciplines of motorsport, aiming for the pinnacle of your chosen field.

Another installment in an awesome series. Its 2nd only to Gran Turismo. Its also the 2nd game to ever utilize the Logitech Driving Force Pro's full 900 degree rotation since GT4.
Its expected to be out on the PS2 and XBOX in Feburary here in Australia. There are plans for a XBOX 360 version aswell.

You should know that all those screenshots are really renders and not in-game ;)

This is basically Toca Race Driver 3 then?

Yeah it is. Just checked the web site. Yeah I can't wait for that. My favourite track is Surfer's Paradise in the V8s ;).

Codemasters has released its first demo along with a few more trailers of the game.
Take Honda?s new Civic out for a spin and get a feel for the all-new physics, AI and damage of the latest V8 Supercars game.
I'm gonna download it once I have a bit more bandwidth to myself here at home. I look forward to seeing what the damage is like and if its changed much.

To download it for free, just register at Codemasters, click a few buttons and way ya go!

Yeh the demo was shit cos there wasnt much to do. That and my comp fudged up half way through...

Here are details of the next demo which is set to be released mid-December:
An official demo will be released in mid-December 2005.

The current plans for the content of the official demo (subject to change):

Three different races will be available with practice, qualifying and a full computer controlled field of cars to race against.

V8 Supercars:
Race the Holden Commodore VZ at Philip Island

DTM Touring Cars:
Race the AMG-Mercedes C-Class at Hockenheim

Baja Motocross:
Race the Baja car at the international rally cross track
Looks much better :) But whats a "Baja car"?? :?

Baja should one of these beach-beetles...

^^ Yeah it does... But you have to manually set it in the .ini (as described in the readme, so its no biggie...)

Toca2 also supported it, via the same .ini modification
