This is coming in very late, I know, though not as late as my pictures from Goodwood Festival of Speed, which I haven't even uploaded yet...
This year was the first since 2004 that I missed the July meet at Rudskogen Motorpark in Norway. This summer I kind of didn't have any motivation to go, weather was nasty-ish, and my photography motivation was in a slump with lots of work to do after Goodwood earlier this summer. Now that I had caught up, I was ready for a Gatebil trip to the September meet.
Weather was still dubious, with a nasty shower coming in and ruining the Breisladd competition (now not only just the big corner, but also featuring clipping points along the corner to make it easier to judge) but I did manage to get some pictures of the action on track, though it was a short day with not too many possibilities to vary my composition... Many of the most extreme monsters were out with mechanical problems. Anyways, here are some of my pictures:
First, Ford RS200, one of two at this Gatebil meet, this one was actually a works rally car in the 1986 Group B season:
Porsche 911 GT2 Evo, factory built:
Another GT2, competing in the Gatebil Extreme series;
A 2009 GT3 Cup:
The Gatebil Taxi, an E60 BMW M5
Opel Omega in the Breisladd competition:
Toyota Supra in the same competition:
An E46 BMW M3 with flared arches and a V8 transplanted:
Speaking of BMW with V8 transplants, here's an E30 with a supercharged E39 M5 engine:
RX7 drifting:
Audi S2:
The rescue truck:
A very nice Lotus Esprit Turbo
The rest of the pictures are found in this set.
