Good Hostel in Sydney?

Like many others, I'm going to be making the trek with a few of my uni mates over to Sydney for Top Gear Live. Being uni students, hostels seem to be the only decent option. We're going to be flying (sadly...) Anyone got any tips for hostels in Sydney?

Anyone know any good hostel review sites?

I stayed in Kings Cross at the The Funk House (which, sadly wasn't very funky). It's about what you'd expect for a youth hostel located firmly in the middle of Australia's most notorious red light district. Cheap, and affordable and relatively comfortable. It isn't the Hilton, but then it doesnt pretend to be. Fairly central location to Sydney, and train and bus stops are within walking distance.

Dont remember the hostel site we looked at prior to making the booking, when my housemate comes home I'll ask him if he remembers.
