Goodbye 6 cyliders; hello 4!

The Maxima seems a lot cooler. :( Sorry for your loss. Hopefully you'll get a Miata soon?

I'm speaking in relative terms. While a Maxima might not be that cool, a Civic is just god-awfully uncool. Thus Maxima is much cooler than Civic.

An A32 with only 207,000 miles? That's only half of it's life used! :(

I work with someone who a J30 430,000 miles on. YOU CAN'T KILL VG30.

His Maxima had a VQ30. Still pretty sweet though.

To be honest, neither looks sort of cool, but that's not what you ask for that kind of car :-D
The Max was my first car. I was an idiot and went "yeah! V6!!" The Honda... like I said, it will hold me off till I get a Miata

That's an Accord, not a Civic. And I'll gladly take a Civic over an Accord or a Maxima any day of the week. Those things are light.

Its technically a CG5 with an F23A1 motor :p The VQ30 in the Maxima runs fine... its everything else that doesn't lol

^lol my parents old Buick had that problem, engine and trans were solid, everything else.............

Miata's pwn hope you can find a good one soon.

LOL That's what I meant. See what happens when you see a Honda? :p

Im trying to figure out how a newer Accord than mine has 50 horsepower less than mine. And more miles. o_O

Grats on the new car, however!

So I have (or rather, my car has) an oil leak. It doesnt seem to be burning any and it doesnt leak underneath (no puddles), but rather a sort of dark gritty oily coating on the side of the block. I have to top it off a couple of times a week. Fingers crossed that it holds out for a while.

What do you mean "top off"? 1 quart every week? That would be a lot!

If it's not leaving a puddle, and it's not burning it...I would check the cam seals.

I don't think I'll ever say hello to 4 cylinders unless they are of a Diesel or Flat configuration

But hey, I can't say anything bad about the car, Its got more power than mine.

Nothing in peticular, In fact the only real experience I have with them would be my mom's cobalt, and it moves along with no problem at all.

I just can't see myself owning anything with a 4cyl engine besides maybe a subaru or diesel VW. or a recreational vehicle
