Goodwood Breakfast Club - March 2012

First one of the year but not many pictures this time I'm afraid. It was pissing down with rain, blowing a gale and it was bloody freezing which meant the turnout wasn't that big. Then my umbrella went inside out! Which meant that me and my camera were getting even wetter and even colder so, having seen pretty much everything by that point, I decided to call it a day and go home.

Anyway, to the cars. The theme was 'Tax Free' (all pre-1973 cars and some modern eco-cars are road tax exempt), but they let some other interesting cars in too:

An insight is Goodwood breakfast club-worthy? wow.

Well: that was in the car park and not on the track and it is road tax exempt so it fitted the theme anyway.

Besides, the MK1 Insight is very rare and quite an interesting car too.

Some little gems there, I wish Goodwood wasn't so far away from me.

I actually find that first-gen Insight quite interesting and I hate electric cars.

When the weather gets better think I will go again this year. You do see interesting cars there, even if mostly in static. I went with MWF - nice MX-5 he has.

'Supercars' in May is always the biggest meeting (for obvious reasons) but there's always something interesting at each one because of the different themes.

People used to stand on the grass verge outside the circuit gate and watch cars leave but it led to people showing off and driving too fast so they decided to put a stop to it before anyone got hurt.

I was at last year's Festival of Speed and it was one of the most amazing days of my life.
