TurboAstra.jpg

On the back of an astra I saw when walking back from uni earlier. So sad.

You're gonna have to explain. Most people, including me, have no idea what's funny about that picture. Is an Astra a piece of crap car or something?

Not really, He's just bought a "turbo intercooler" sticker and stuck it on the back of his diesel astra. Quite sad and a bit worrying about his self esteem.

a TDI also has a turbo ;)

it's sad when people start hanging M3 badges on their regular BMW

or how the caract?re logo (audi tuner), is almost the same as the RS6 logo

one time in i saw some idiot in a CLK430 with AMG on the other side

I really don't get the whole fake badge thing.

If someone puts an M3 badge on the back of a normal 3 series, the only people who will know what M3 means will be the same people that will know the badge is fake. :? It's not like they're fooling anyone. I guess maybe some really retarded people may be impressed by cars with a lot of badges on the back, but really, who do they think they are fooling?

I personally love the TypeR stickers on the back of non-TypeR Integras or Civics. :p

besides most of us and car enthusiasts you can really fake someone with those badges.

my bro isnt into cars and couldnt tell the difference between a CLK430 and a CLK430 AMG. hed say one is the AMG model. point is you CAN fool some ppl and i would think that woman especially would be easily fooled and MAYBE impressed by these dumb badges.

think about it, could anyone here tell the difference between a fake Loius Vutton bag and a real one?

No but if a girl has a LV bag I'm not impressed by that...and I think if you keep saying :
"Yo girl I got an AMG"
"Okey, what is it?"
"That's the fastest and most expensive version tuned by MB"
"Oh that turns me on! yeah right"

You're a big loser if you put a badge on your car that doesn't belong there..rednecks..

I would think its a intercooled TD, in europe most diesel opels have that badge

Note the diffefent badges, that's the 1.7TD, which obviously would have a turbo, this isn't........

Quite suprising! If you saw it in real life you could easily see that it was just a sticker. I know for a fact those astra's don't have turbos, my aunt and cousins have them and I have helped my dad virtually strip the engines on more than one occasion!

^ How do you know he didn't put a turbo in it? :p Maybe you'll have to bust open the hood next time and have a look.

If I could put a turbo on something it certiannly wouldn't be an old astra diesel, and I certinally wouldn';t advertise trhe fact with a shitty sticker.

You probably don't like the rainpipes under the Civic hatchbacks either? :p

Let's just say I have a factory exhaust system, and I'm proud of being one of the few Civics you'll ever see that doesn't have a recycled coffee can out the back bumper, nor will I drown out your stereo with my amplified, bumblebee-sounding exhaust :x :x :x
