Looks interesting. I wonder what they will reveal....considering (I presume) they are already showing the car on the site.

It says on the site what they are unveiling. They are probaly going to have actual pictures of a car not just drawings

Well yes, that was my guess as well. But I think it would have been a lot more impressive if they didn't give you some idea of what it would look like by showing the concept picture.

Although as we have all seen concept pictures hardly ever actually show the final product.

Oh I see.

But technically it shouldn't be in the Concept/Spy Shot section as, I assume, they are revealing the actual production car.

GT-R Proto IS a concept car, but the design is as good as to makes no difference to the final production car according to the press release.

well, the website is down again, the excitement of the Proto is over and the countdown to 2007 begins. Roll on the production version!!

I've seen all the prototype pics, but I expect the actual car to look like a widened Infiniti G35. There have been wild proto's made, but there have also been information out there that leads to the idea of a G35 with wide fenders as the next GTR. I just wonder if they'll develop a twin turbo version of the 3.5v6 or if they'll just shove in a tweaked version of the 4.5v8 previously found in the q45?
