Man this one is annoyingly hard.
Has anyone beaten this one yet?

I hate that you damn well have to wait 2 minutes before you start too.
 
Haha, not even there yet. Getting stuck on like #5. :cry:
 
If you're stuck on 23, lemme know, I can explain how to do that one.
 
Well, I finally completed it, but it wasn't pretty.
I cut across two chicanes (this thing's on the Nurburgring), and at the end I realized I was too far behind so I went kamikaze.
After the main straight, I made no attempt to brake whatsoever.
After bouncing off of a wall, I bounced off another and just managed to take out the leader in the process and ended up in the right direction as a bonus. :bangin:
 
I'm stuck on 10, I can never get past them in the straights, even staying in the slipstreams. :x
 
^Yeah I couldn't either, I cheated (didn't brake for the chicanes, I just went ZOOOOOOOM!) :lol:

I tried SEVERAL times before, so it was the ultimate solution :|
 
^That the way I do it too. I just ram into the car on the turns and knock them off course. It seems thats the only way cheat, but i wouldn't call it cheating, just agrasive racing skills. 8)

Do you guys all use steering wheels? Is it even possible to play GT4 without one?
 
For what I see in the laptime thread, a lot of people play with the Dual Shock 2 controller.
 
Yeah DS2 for me, I hate it, it sucks, I love wheels, but I won't get 2 of them (1 for PC 1 for PS2)
 
there used to be a logitech one that worked on both PC and PS2, dunno if they still have it and if it will work with GT4
 
There's the new one, but thing is I already have a wheel for the PC. That's my point
 
I think the ps2 needs the wheel more than the PC, there is nothing like GT4 on the PC I guess... I'm dying to get to Seattle so that I can get a PS2, a logitech wheel, my copy of GT4, and get fired from MS on my first week :lol:
 
^ Just get the case of an xBox and stick a PS2 inside of it. It would fit with plenty of room. :p :lol:

Remember what bonus car you got when you finally completed? (I'm trying now since late November :cry: , but I might change my proper driving style now :evil: )
 
Mautzel, here's a list of everything you win in GT4. For Missions 30-34 you get the Nissan R89C Race Car '89 (spoiler in white).
