Is it recent or is it much older than the other cars i mentioned?

EDIT: BTW, by lifted, do you mean taller or higher ground clearance?

All wrong so far.

I meant lifted in the term of higher ground clearance.

#4: In the region I live in this car was a real plague in the early 90's, although only around 8000 were built.
 
Damn, I based my guess pretty much on tips 2 and 3, didn't think I'd guess right. I saw one just a week or two ago, so I guess that's why it was still fresh in my memory :) Funny car, somehow pointless and effective looking at the same time (haven't tried one, so the looks might be the only thing that's "effective") :p

Someone else can have my turn, I'm useless at making riddles.

Clue #1: The car's model name is actually the name of another car manufacturer.
Clue #2: It's final version didn't have pop-up headlamps unlike the previous ones.
