Whoops .... 3rd clue is wrong ..... not a year but 2 years.

When it was used again, but not as a car, was it used by the same company? And the later completely different car, was it also by the same company?
 
What kind of product was it? Food? Toy? Home appliance?
 
Electronics :p (But I wouldn't say that it was product name.)

The name got used for something else too .... Many things.

It was build before 1980. for 9 years through 3 generations.
