Just an idea I came up with whilst sat on the bus. Pretty much same as the other version in the Automotive section except this requires you to take your own pictures.

I also don't think it's necessary to wait in line for this, just post a picture and let others guess it - and if they do, post a fuller image to prove it.

Again, this thread is aimed at getting people to take more photos during their day and hopefully we'll get some nice arty pictures too :)

This is the pic I took that inspired me, it's not arty at all. In fact, it's rather dull, but I was rather bored - so I hope this thread takes off. They say the best ideas come to you by accident, and the Lens Flair thread was a similar idea, so you never know - it might work :D

But why make it Guess that CAR game? Why not Guess what this is game? This will probably make it redudant, as some people use their own photos.

I wanted to make it just cars as I wanted an excuse to take more pictures of cars. Feel free to start a Guess what this is game in a separate thread though - sounds pretty interesting too.
 
I had this one waiting for if it ever was my turn in the other thread. But I stopped trying lately.

You guys uses these euro cars. i'll never be able to guess them.
 
It is supposed to be photos we took, so if we're europeans it is obvious that we post european cars.
 
My memory is fuzzy but i thougth we had a similar thing going on before. I guess it must've been on another forum(which is unlikely because i only come to FG)

I love the Calibra - I was very tempted to snap one on the same bus journey and use that instead, but it was bright yellow, so I resisted :p

Anyway, here's another one that I took tonight, it's a bit dark, but I guess that could add to the challenge - hehe

Do the pictures have to be recent, or can we use some of our car pictures that we've taken a while back as well?

Another point, how about the only stock cars argument? How about allowing to post something non-stock as well as long as it is some big brand tuner, brabus, techart etc?
 
As far as I'm concerned, post whatever you want. As long as you took it. It's not really a competition, it's just a bit of fun.
