Guess that car game

Now that this thread reached 500 pages, I thought it?d be nice to take a short look back:

In total, the Donkervoort has been the 860th car so far, of which a fair amount must?ve been guessed by Magnet and me. J

The most popular brands were VW and Ford, each with 35 cars so far, BMW and Nissan with 26 cars each, Alfa and Renault with 25 cars each, Toyota and Fiat with 24 cars each and Citroen with 21 cars.

The first car that has ever been guessed was a Subaru SVX 2.5 years ago, and to my big surprise it was the only appearance of it so far:

The most popular car in this game is the SAAB Sonnett, which has been put up seven times (so there should be no need to bring it up ever again!):

(This is a Series II Model, numbers include some Series III Models as well.)

The Ford Mustang has been guessed six times by now, but since I can?t figure out any more in which versions and everybody knows them anyway, I won?t put a picture up for them. ::p:

The Daihatsu Copen made it five times into that game. Don?t remember it? No wonder, it?s last appearance already had been over 240 cars ago!

Then there?s a row of cars that already have appeared and been guessed four times:

The Aston Martin Lagonda:

The Citroen DS:

The Jaguar XJ 220:

The Jensen Interceptor:

The Lotus Elan:

and the VW Scirocco:

There?s quite a big list of cars that have been guessed three times, so they only will be mentioned namely:
Bitter CD, Bizzarini 5300GT, Citroen XM, Fiat Panda, Lamborghini Espada, Lancia Fulvia, Nissan Skyline R32, NSU RO80, Panoz Esperante, Peugeot 206, Pontiac Bonneville, Porsche 944, Renault Sport Spider, Seat Leon Cupra, Talbot Tagora, Toyota Corolla, VW Golf R32, VW Polo Fun and to my big surprise, the VW Nardo Concept car ? the rules must?ve been laid out rather liberally in the earlier days of that game as all the appearances of the Nardo took place before I signed up to that forum, not to speak of the production number rule that has been broken x times J

There are only a couple of cars that haven?t been guessed / that were given up: something called a Deronda F400, a Fiat Siena, a FSO Syena (they don?t have anything in common except the similar sounding name!), a Geely Leopard (first time something Chinese appeared!), one of the four Jensen Interceptors, a Lancia Ypsilon and an Opel GT Roadster (Don?t know any more whether it was the new one or a convertible version of the original Opel GT).

Nothing more to say than keep guessing for another five hundred pages!

damn, that was fast :)

i thought i'd show a bit more of it because it is relatively unknown outside .nl

well yeah, but there really aren?t that many cars with free standing front wheels... so when I looked at where you?re from I was pretty sure it must be a Donky

awesome cars though...

a Geely Leopard (first time something Chinese appeared!)

That was mine. I am so proud of myself. And Btw, it's a Geely Beauty Leopard, which I chose because of its stupid-assed name.

A 5 series?

Opel Monza/Senator/Rekord Holden Commodore?
