The map is limited to 100 posts, so new ones are just replacing old ones now. 8)

I'll just remind all the regulars to pin their locations again in a couple of months.

Couldn't add myself, but updated my profile

And I saw that there's another dude from Israel, Cool

mine isn't totally accurate (should be a little more south east) but its up

Third person from Florida. Technically I'm posting from my dorm in Daytona, but I'm from Ft. Walton Beach.

Interesting places:

Eglin, AFB: Home to the 96th Test Wing, Air Force Munitions Testing (its where they tested the MOAB)

Hurlburt Field: Home to AFSOC and the 16th SOW. Lots of AC-130 gunships and MH-53 Pavelows.

Also nearby is Pensacola, Destin, and Hurricane Katrina

I'm online which means I'm at school (in DB). My parents are telling me that they're expecting cat 1~2 force winds (sustained winds up to 90, gusts up to 100). Though I hear that what bit of New Orleans that survives the 160+ mph winds will be underwater. I think expected landfall is going to be the casinos of Biloxi, MS.

I can't understand what you mean in that sentence, but I imagine that New Orleans will be really damaged. What about after it hits New Orleans? Will it keep going for a lot more time? The satellite pictures are scary... :shock2:

They're expecting the eye of the storm to make landfall in Biloxi, Mississippi, where all the casinos and casino boats are on the Gulf Coast.

To add on to your second question, yeah, they tend to keep going onland and dump all their rain. It'll probably remain a hurricane as it pushes through Mississippi.
