That had to hurt....

Funny stuff.

I used to have a cruiser type motorcycle . . .
The corning speed of those things are limited only by the clearance of the tailpipes. Those things aren't made to go around twisties very fast! It's easy to lose the front end and slide out of control.

Meh, Harleys have something that all other bikes don't have. Thier technology dates back from the middleages, quality is a bit meh. But their image is quite remarkable. I can't think of any car manufacturors that could get away with something like what harley do.

Ps, if you want a fast harley get a buel, the normal ones are for cruising, sure they have many models, but they''re all for cruising :)

And the level of after market stuff u can buy is amazing. They're easy to tinker with, and make one awsome sound.

The guy crashing the harley probably doesn't have skin on his right arm anymore...learn him to wear more leather...

Sorry for the guy getting hurt but the first mistake was attacking a set of corners in one of those things.

Harley-Davidson's: Overpriced, unreliable, shakey noise makers. :yucky:

Young and not so young guys around here get pulled over for noisy, sometimes even legal exhaust systems ( SRT-4's are a prime example of this) while Harley Davidson's pretend to go fast ('cause they're not...) making way much more noise and not being bothered about it.

I hate winter with a passion but one of the few good things that will soon come with it is that those things will disappear for a while. <_<

^+1 with you.

I HATE bikes, I hate scooters, they're slow and dangerous, sportsbikes are fast and dangerous, and harleys are annoying as fuck, everytime one of them floors it right next to me I almost have an heart attack!

i wouldn't buy a buell if you're in europe and don't run to the repair shop for every issue.
buell is pure american, so all bolts and screws have their measuring system, none of the tools you own would fit.

and the fact that harley makes that distinct sound, is caus they're the only ones that still use the radial-engine principe. although it only has 2 cylinders, it works the same way

omg :? how can someone who loves rotaries also be so completely stupid

very few bikes over 250cc are "slow", where are you getting your info from? my bike will do mid to high 3s for 0-100km... what's your car do? oh you don't have one? oh well

Buell is owned by Harley, all the big Harley places service Buells here.

My dad sold it to a Belgian Art collector/gallery some years ago.

I hate bikes period. But I especially hate Harleys, they are so goddamn loud you can hear them miles away, literally! They backfire and crap, aw they are horrible.

harleys suck. 2stroke sportsbikes are teh r0x0rZ

damn right!
I used to have a little NSR250r I wish I would of never sold it, but at the time I had to and maintenance was a bitch (It was an 86)
it was so light and nimble! and it stood its ground with the 500's of the day

Im not a big fan of harleys as they are uselessly noisy, unreliable and overvalued

not to mention many harley riders wear an uncertified bowl helmet that doesnt protect anything and ride in minimal clothing/no gear

when I take my bike out I always have at least a balistic/padded nylon jacket and fullface helmet.

i hate cruiser and chopper bikes too. they are ok stock but the only reason people buy em is to no have them stock. the proble here in the US is that bike police drive harley electraglide type bikes, so they do literally nothing to any biker. the patrol car cops are friends with bike cops and also do nothing. so basically they have free reign to do whatever they want. the laws on those things are completely lax too so emissions and stuff are pretty much ignored.

same goes with muscle cars. it pisses me off since the cops do nothing about them. a guy i know was driving in his friend's early 70's whatever (car not specified) and the car had a rebored v8 with no exhausts (straight headers), no registration, no title, no plates, no glass, no seatbelts, no insurance, and the guy was speeding by 45mph on the freeway. a cop pulled him over and gave him a slight warning, and said 'nice car' a guy around here got pulled over in a stock mitsu Evo and got an "illegal exhaust" ticket and another for excessive noise. now thats retarded.

 its not a racebike.... just forgot my angle

pdanev,

that look so funny, thanks for posting

^Not like I am making my opinion on one or a few Harleys, you know.
Very few Harleys have stock exhaust plumbing here and all modified Harleys are made to be noisier. And then they drop the idle RPM to make them even more uneven and backfire even more....

Harleys. I don't like them. I stand by my previous statement.
