I went to see A FX45 here. It's ? 63k imported and fully roadlegal with all the options....so it's cheap, that's the price of stock ML500!! :shock: :shock:

and not to mention that the FX45 is the second fastest production SUV after the Porsche Cayenne Trubo

LOL, man you guys need to STFU. My dad had two jobs to buy the ML. While I worked for a few years to get the money I have to buy a car. If we were rich we'd be driving a range rover supercharged HSE, and id be driving a nice M3. But thats not the case now is it.

i mean. it's fine since every automobile critic has labeled the previous ML as probably the worst car out there--the Top Gear surveys with REAL people said the ML is the worst car out there, i recall even previous ML owners who said the ML is quite poopy... but hey. your dad likes it--that's cool mr. grump.


and i do believe that the 1995 Discovery is rolling on an ANCIENT chassis...

and the Land Cruiser....yeah it's not as shiney...but it doesn't break like Mercs do.

Put me down as another ML driver (not owner, used to drive mom's car) who doesn't think highly of the car. It would be fine if it were a Lexus or something, but you expect a little more.

I like how he thinks the AMG version is such an improvement over the other models of the ML. Come on, it's faster... that's it. If I learnt one thing from Top Gear this season, it's that AMG cannot possibly hand assemble every engine, since they make a gazillion every year. Besides, a crappy car will be a crappy car, even if it had the engine out of Appollo 13 in it.

Been driving in general for 3 years now, on a permit for about 2 years, i'll be driving legally in about a month.

That ancient Land rover chassis is what makes the car great. At least the coils in the LR arent as ancient as leaf springs in just about every american car. At least I know that the suspension in the LR will outlast every thing else in the car.
