My S.O. decided that a convertible was the right way to treat a quarter life crisis. The requirements were cheap(ish), reliable, and drop-top.

I believe I have successfully delivered.

At the time, I did not know this was some kind of special edition, but here we are.

What an amazing color! And as someone who used to have a Miata that he bought right around that same age likely for the same reason, I approve as well.

Is this our first Cars And Bids-purchased car?!

The colour is apparently Merlot Mica, which was a thing for '95 only. There's a few paint flecks and such but it's honestly in great condition for a car that's 25+ years old.

Initial impressions on the car: doesn't really need anything. There's a bit of cowl shake, I guess I could get frame rails, but honestly if I didn't touch a thing the car's still more or less perfect as is.

Cars and Bids was fine, bit easier in my case since the seller was local to me so didn't have to deal with the hassles of a remote transaction.
