I was thinking about High Definition videos the other day and I am sure BBC will switch to HD too, SOME day. Just think how cool it would be :drool: :drool: :drool:

Yeah, that would be awesome, I still hold out hope that Discovery is going to shoot TG USA in HD so they have more content for Discovery HD, even though that's probably not likely.
 
I think discovery will definitely not shot TG usa hdtv, well atleast it wont be any good.

The reason why i like tg so much is because of the great combination they have with hamster and clarkson. I love their dynamics! James is a cool arbitrator though!

you dont know that. most broadcasters are buying all of the HD cameras they can get, because it's only a couple more years till all programming in north america will be HD

I don't think the pilot season will be, but if there should happen to be future seasons, I could see discovery spending the money to make a veyron fly by, an HD experience (with full 5.1 surround sound of course).

They have to switch to HD at some point because the government tells them to, right?
Man, I would love to have that in Germany as well... Then we wouldn't have stupid mpeg4 compression that saves only like 5 Mbit/s a channel just to cutting edge, with really expensive settop boxes :-(
