Dear Final Gearians, I need your thoughts please. I know I've mentioned this a few times on here, not to mention spamming the in-boxes of Wiggy, MWF, Dr_Grip and suggsygirl, but I've got a pretty major operation to get through. It's scheduled for tomorrow, (i.e. Tues 28th) and I'm feeling pretty damn scared right now. So if any of you have got a spare thought, send it my way please?

I will try and let you know how it's gone ASAP by posting here, but that depends on whether I can get online in hospital. If not, I will text-spam the above people and get them to let you know. If it all goes badly, then I'm leaving suggsygirl in charge of Wilman-stalking :p

Thanks all

Helen

I have just had one myself. Your life is in the hands of the Doc and there is nothing you can do about it so do not worry you either come out OK or you do not. Its a bit like being in a car crash, just make sure that you are in a Volvo/SAAB i.e. the best Doctor you can find/get.

Stop worrying as that in itself causes problems - put everything in-order just in-case, and then do not fight them but be as helpful as you can be so it is as easy for them as possible.

All my best wishes, and I hope you come out of this feeling much better, I would miss you cute posts. NB NHS?

and  Cobol hope everything is better now

:comfort: Everyone here (and Andy Wilman) is rooting for you!

Best of luck he-he and hoping for a smooth operation (done by a smooth operator?) and a speedy recovery. See you back here real soon!!!

Best of luck he-he. Hope all goes well. *big hug*

Best of luck he-he!

You know we'll all be thinking of you.

And you'd better be OK otherwise Grip and I will be left to break the news to Wilman in person on the 7th!

I think I've said my part in private, I just like to add that I fully expect to meet you on the 7th - and I prefer for you not to be in an urn!

That being said, you work in medicine yourself so you probably are able to judge the risks and everything better than the average Jane - which probably makes it scarier. I am convinced that due to the wonders of the NHS/socialism, all will go well and you'll keep stalking Wilman for some more time. :)

Good luck he-he!
Don't worry, I'm sure everything will be fine ;)

I have a somewhat major operation pending, so let's say I know how you feel ;)
Thanks. And  and crossed fingers for you.

:lmao: Thank you :D And if I am in an urn I'll try and get onto the table during the news :) Add some variation to the "where's he-he" game . (Black humour helps me - I don't mean to offend.)

We could take some inspiration from Sacha Baron Cohen's Oscar stunt and scatter you ashes over Wilman and/or the TG3.

QFT Doc!

I just PM'd he-he about this but you do realise if the worst happens then you and I have to stand on Wilman's throat until he agrees to put "In Memory of (name redacted)" on the closing credits for 18x07!! ;)

Can you provide me with a convincing tool? I don't think I'm allowed to bring one in carry-on luggage.

Good luck, he-he!
