I have HyperWhite bulbs in my head lamps now (halogen bulbs, 97 Z24) and while they were bright when I bought them they have dimmed since.... so much that Ive gone back to the stock Sylvania bulbs. I bought them because they thow a "white" light instead of the stock "yellowish" light... kind of like H.I.D.

So since I have to replace them does anyone have any suggestions on which ones to get? I want as white and bright as possible.

I was looking at these....

I've used the PIAA ones before on my subaru and a new one 7500k PIAA one and it was quite bright... only had them for 3 months now so I'm not sure if they dim.... but I suggest you to get an original HID kit... much more effective

i've found the sylvania silverstars work pretty well.. cheaper than coverting to a HID kit..

depends on how bright you want it to be..

i got the silverstars in my jeep.. and gonna get a set for my sebring shortly.

the difference between stock halogen and them were very noticable.

This all started awhile ago when my cousin was going on vacation with his family and didnt have enough room in his 3 series... so we traded. After spending a week with HID, going back to halogen was a bummer.

I would put HID in that car in a sec but nobody makes a HID kit for it. One company makes a HID kit for the 2000+ years but that would involve a headlamp and hood conversion since they are a bit taller and not as long.

You might want to look at this site:
www.hoen-usa.com
Specifically, their xenonmatch Vi Plus, it says it's optimized for projector housings, but about a week ago I had checked the site and it one other on there, that said suitable for reflector or projector housings. That one was in their Vi series, dunno what happened to it...

Thank you, I looked at the site for #9006 and it said "soon". Ill call them on Monday and see whats up.
