Well, he's not that short (I thought he was 5ft 3in or so), but by the Euro/UK standard he's not very tall.

I've just remembered the past episode of Top Gear, when that fat lady said to Clarkson "he's more appealable than you" :lol:

I've never seen Hammond's wife, does anybody have a picture of her? Is she cute?

Hahahaha I was waiting for clarkson to pull a move like he did when someone said the VX220 was a bad looking car/bad car (can't remember)
 
Amanda Hammond was on BBC1 last night (with husband of course) on Should I Worry About Additives. She reminds me of a petite JK Rowling.

You're right (and short too :p), 5'7"= 1.73736 m. In my case 6'2" translates to 1.89 m BTW.

On a related note, thanks to my Siemens SX1 with it's built in converter for almost everything. Very handy indeed. :)

Well, I know I'm short... Average in Germany is 177 cm afaik, so I'm 4 cm short...
