Hi,

I'm doing a survey for my bachelor thesis and need some more participants, it would be super awesome of you to take part. You watch a small clip from a movie, then answer a few questions. You can win something too.

http://vombruch.at/befragung.html (there are several versions, not everyone will do the same, please don't mention anything about it in this thread).

I'll do it when I get home today.

Done and done - nice theme you've got going on there (well the one I did :p).

done

You just need to put a descriptor on a couple of the ratings scales (ie 1 = lowest, 10 = highest)

It's there; but maybe at the start rather than end would be better :)

Usually it goes against each Q, or as you say at the start, I found the one at the bottom of the page and went back and reanswered

Done, now WHERES MY GIFT CARD!

Done. As the above said, the questionnaire could have used some work on the instructions of how to fill it out. It's pretty self-explanatory for people who've done surveys before, but not so much for others. Also, the scales are quite big. Don't know what the study is about, but you may be stuck with answers that are quite mathematically pleasing, but can't be used in practical applications afterwards. Scales without meanings behind the numbers have little purpose attached to them IMHO. But what bothered me the most is that some of the available answers were out of order, such as: (it's a made up example, so as to not spoil the test, but you can relate it to some of the questions):

a) every 2 weeks
b) every week
c) more than once a week
d) less than every 2 weeks

Those should have been in order from more frequent to less frequent, for example:

a) more than once a week
b) once per week
c) once every 2 weeks
d) less than every 2 weeks
that way people work down the list and choose the most correct answer, depending what the frequency of the action is. If it's the other way around, they keep second-guessing themselves as they go down the list. Also, having them in order is less confusing.
</Marketing Major rant on research survey> (Yes, I aced my Marketing Research course in uni.)

Done. Didn't really notice the product that the questions were designed for, but I did notice the Chevelle

Somehow I've the impression, that like 90% of all graduates are doing a survey. Because I'm on my Master's thesis myself at the moment, I've been spammed with surveys by fellow students maybe 20 times in the last couple of weeks.

But this one is different than usual. I need speakers? That seems new worth checking out. Will do it as soon as my work colleague leaves for lunch or as soon as I get home :p

Imma halp!

Reminded me of Casino Royale, that film felt like a lesson in product placement.

Thanks you guys!!. toma_alimosh: Unfortunately I cannot edit the question answer options anymore, once the thing started.

done and good job mentioning things about the clip when he asked not to HV
