help me use FTP

a while back, I took on cubanseeder's offer for freeweb hosting, and since ive been busy, i havent bothered with it since...

now i got more time, and i thought i'll try it out, but i have no idea how to use FTP...

any help will be much appriciated.

I just used FlashFXP to download one of kuranosuke's files and I guess it didn't download entirely before it moved into another folder and stopped downloading. Whats going on?

haha i tried that alrdy, but i cant get in...
im supposed to ftp to mixtrix.in2hosting.org

so do i enter that into the URL box?
or is it supposed to be ftp.mixtrix.in2hosting.org or something else?
