I recently stumbled upon this, which I just have to try. I went to place an order, and shipping to the US is 60 EUR! So I have two questions:

1) Are any kindly German members willing or able to help me out?
2) Would it actually be significantly cheaper to ship to a German address, then re-ship to the US? The packages are 13.26 kg each according to the website. Shipping cost is the same for one or two cases (60 EUR) on the website. Whether I go with one or two would depend on the cost. I'd pay the price of the product+shipping locally+shipping to the US.

I'd really appreciate it! I'd be willing to return the favor of course if there's something over here that is expensive to import.

EDIT: On further research, it looks like shipping to Germany or the Netherlands would be 7 EUR, for 1 or 2 cases.

I would generally advise against shipping fluid containing glass-bottles half around the world in parcels.

Also I just did some quick checking on prices for sending ... and dhl-deutsche post wants more than 60 ? for shipping 20 Kilo to the US, and close to 90? for 30 kilos (plus the cost of delivering it to a german adress first). So ordering it directly from the site would be cheaper anyway.

Thanks, that answers my question then :(

If you Import huge amounts (tons, not kilos), shipping will be quite cheap (per bottle) ... a whole container will only cost around 2000?, if you take several, huge discounts are to be had.

So, welcome in the Import/Export buisness ... and don?t forget to pay your anti-accident insurance at Mafia HQ.

You need to find a soda specialist near you and point this out to them to see if they will order it.

They did not get the shape of the bottle though, and that is because the company that the game was going for was Coca-Cola, and they own the copyright of that shape.
