I'm vehemently opposed to the death penalty, but Kelvin MacKenzie makes me reconsider. Well, maybe not, but you get the point. What an utter arsehole.

Kelvin, this is the real reason for the Hillsborough boycott of your Sun

"When I saw the headline, 'The Truth,' I was aghast, because that wasn't what I'd written. I'd never used the words the truth... So I said to Kelvin MacKenzie, 'You can't say that'. And he said 'Why not?' and I said, 'because we don't know that it's the truth. This is a version of 'the truth'."

As a journalist for close to a decade, having covered ups and downs, murders and real human tragedies, I can't even begin to fathom the mind of a journalist who would knowingly inflict such suffering on people. It is very close to being inhuman.
