Holy Crap! I can't believe it... I GOT THE CAR!

I've always loved how in the PYC section you can necro a thread and it's ok . I FINALLY got the stock wheels for my car. They are 18" replica Pegasus wheels from IPD - world wide Volvo specialists. They have this really cool hyper black finish to them, so if you look at them bang on they appear silver. But, if you look at them on profile they look charcoal gray. At night they look almost mirrored, it's so cool. Tires are Dunlop Direzza Sport z1's and they are sticky as hell.

Here are just a few pics I took today after washing. Gonna take some more later and post them up:

You better show up to the FG East Coast Meet with that thing...or I'll eat your dog. :shakefist:

I'm quite jealous of you, it looks awesome!

Nice, looking good Rich! It's funny that most cars look their best in stock form, yet the majority of car owners fail to realize this.

Seeing your car reminds me: I fucking miss my car and driving in general. I can't wait to get back and do some pointless joyriding... $1.50/litre gas be damned to hell.

Thanks guys! I couldn't go to get the other pictures taken, I had some other things to attend to. But my friend who's a great photog will be available this week so I'll post them once we get 'em done.

Oh and you can bet your sweet ass I'll be there in it! I went on a little road trip today and found myself doing 110mph on the motorway and I couldn't even tell. Noise was at naught level, no shaking, just completely smooth.

These are gonna get me in so much trouble.

You had to get the newer PA plate? Couldn't transfer over the older, nicer blue/yellow one? bah

yes, I'm picky

^ I don't know what the old ones were like so I can't comment, but I'd definitely recommend taking off that thick license plate frame.

Removing the frames on my car were the best thing I ever did. My IS looks 5x better without the stupid Jim Pattison Lexus frames.

Where the blue and yellow are, they were nicer shades of blue and yellow and they also faded into the white quite nicely.

Not sure I even remember the old plates? My old plate from my GTI, which I bought in 2003, had this same kind. I dunno I'm used to it.

Althought I am VERY tempted to get one that says "STIG" on it and be that guy.

edit: I just went out to our garage and checked the oldest car's plate, and yeah I see the difference now. But it's so subtle... damn you are picky .

Yeah, as dumb as it sounds, I'm saving it for the right frame. I didn't even buy the car at the place specified on the frame . There's one from swedespeed.com but I already have a sticker on my car from there, and like that more.

Maybe a finalgear.com frame? hint hint, Viper....

very very awesome. when i totaled my last saab 9-2x i was looking at used v70rs and s60r. such a sweet car especially since the resale value on them plummeted. it's just too bad maintenance and replacement part prices didn't drop as well. so i went with a little less excitement and bought another saabaru.

I think I've posted in the thread before, but nice car, nice new wheels, and nice choice of rubber.

Also that's coo you live in Scranton, lolz.
