Good. But does anyone know why the brother still has to serve 2 years?

They are essentially saying the homeowner is still guilty, but it was clearly exceptional circumstances, so he is being let off with a much reduced sentence. His brother doesn't get the same treatment as he wasn't involved in the original incident.

The judge involved in the case is called Lord Chief Justice Lord Judge. Most of that is just honorary titles, except for the last bit. He's a judge called Mr Judge.

His first name is Igor. And he's a proper british fellow, born on Malta, went on to play the cricket very well indeed, and thus earned his place as a Baron and Lord Chief Justice (there is no of in that title).

Lord Judge, Baron of Draycote and Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales.

He must have a huge drivers license.
