The S-Class sold more because it was available a lot earlier then the stuff like the BMW 7 series or the Audi A8 (right? correct me if i'm worng). And this allowed people to build a brand image on the car.

what do you say to that then? the 7 hasnt beaten the S in yearly sales ever. monthly sure but not yearly. correct me if im wrong and ill re-tract that statement.
