Well, I've been at the following speeds:
1979 VB SL/E 253ci V8 Commodore - 200km/h (124mph)
1995 Kawasaki GPZ 600 Bike - 180km/h (112mph)
1994 VR II BT1 3.8 Litre V6 Executive Commodore - 200km/h (124mph)
1999 VT II 'S' 3.8 Litre V6 Commodore - 200km/h (124mph)
1999 VT Comodore bodied 350ci V8 NASCAR - 180km/h (112mph) - Limited to 3500rpm!!
2001 VX II 'SS' 5.7 Litre LS1 V8 Commodore - 210km/h (130mph)
2004 VY II 'SS' 5.7 Litre LS1 V8 Commodore - 220km/h (137mph)
** Note: These are not the top speeds of the vehicles, just what I have driven them at when conditions allow.
The current 2004 VY II 'SS' should be able to hit 260km/h (161mph) with the right bit of road. It is not the top speed though, it is how quick you get there....and I can get to 200km/h quite quickly
As you may/may not know in my state (Victoria)- we'll get fined for 3km/h over the limit and 15km/h over is loss of license!!
