The stars only get around that number of laps too, they're only human you know ... In terms of car control (specially reasonably priced cars) I think most of us have the upper hand ;)
 
Not too fast I'm afraid, I have no experience with driving fast and no trackday experience whatsoever. But, my driving instructor always told me that I had great car control (on the public road of course), so faster than 1.55.00 should be doable.
 
I reckon I wouldn't even complete a lap, instead I'd end up understeering my punk ass right into the Top Gear Production "Office".

I went with 1.55+

I'm certified to drive a right hand drive vehicle. But I never could get down driving a stick.

Given enough time around the track though, and maybe an auto...yeah, I could probably get the time down in the 40's.
