Yeah, it's a LOT smaller. To compete with like the Ford Explorer.

I'm kinda strangely drawn to this one. I like small off-roaders like the Jeep Wrangler, Land Rover D90, and the old FJ Land Cruiser.
Toyota finally made a bold move, design-wise. Their cars and trucks are really boring-looking and lack personality. This should do no problem competing with the Honda Element and Nissan XTerra, but using the 4Runner and Tacoma truck chassis and 4WD.

I disagree. I think it has no soul whatsoever. Looks like a 3D model, way too futuristic and smooth.
