FINALLY!! I got it. Took it this morning, now I have a drivers license!!

Passed and heres proof,

These are the mistakes I made,

And they say Americans don't use their turn signals.
Congratulations Justin. Do you have a car at hand. It's important to drive soon after you've passed the test.

Well it's not like you told me on MSN then.. here you automatically get your real liscence after having your basic liscence for 2 years. The exam is done before getting the basic liscence, before that you have a learner's liscence, which is preceeded by a written test.

anyway congrats! I had 92% at my test, only because my right turns were too wide and too fast

BTW, aren't U-Turns illegal in USA too?

Congrats, I remember the day I passed my test, but I didn't fail anything, partially because VA doesn't require a DMV drivers test, only a private instructor driving test.

Congrats dude!!!

Roland-
by the way, what age limit is it in New York state for the drivers license?
18 in NYS to get a drivers license but you can get your lerners permit before then.

Renesis-

Only on double yellow lines or where a sign is posted.

Swek-

I drive my parents car whenever I can or do but I dont have a car of my own now.

I got a perfect score on my learners. I never had to take a road test to get my license.

They are very tricky. When they gave me the slip to sign (which goes on top of a pad, to transfer your sig onto the license I believe) it also registers you for selective service.

Congratulations

but passing the test in USA and passing it in germany is a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig difference.

I got mine for over two years now
Probezeit vorbei

:burnrubber:

my moms car is a Saturn Vue, in blue. My dads car is an Acura TL in black.

Man if thats the same signature they use to go on my liscense then that sucks cuz i just scribbled my signature, i was so nervous and wasnt sure If I passed or not, lol.

I never compared a USA drivers test to a German drivers test. ;)

I'm nearly positive. Mine looks kinda weird also, but then my picture does as well. So....

maybe now you can back up your statements about cars with your experience now that you have your licence ;)

Congrats justing. Good for you.

@Renesis: Go to Detroit and you see funky little u-turn islands. That is very convenient on busy 2 lane streets.

nice, here it's illegal, unless they state you can, in my city there's 1 boulevard with places where it's legal to do so.

is it true you cant make right hand turns on red lights too?

i find it odd there are such diverse laws in the same country... we can u-turn out here

It depends on what state you are in I believe Chupacabras. In Washington State it is legal to make right hand turns on red lights, in Oregon you cant. I find it somewhat interesting that none (states) can agree with each other it seems. Oh well, thats just how it goes though.

and i thought you're in the 30's... kid hahah
