I got a bimmer!

FANTSTIC! I've always had a soft spot for the Z4. That and the M-series' are the only BMWs i like

Hehe funny sig woofle.

Nice car dude, I really like the Z4, ever since it came out. Have fun with it and be careful.

I hate you v0od0o. That is a sweet car and I'm glad you like it. And yes, I am planning a trip to the west coast. ;).

The only thing left now with room for improvement is you music collection.

Ace of Base ? Please tell me it isn't yours.

Nice car btw...

Great buy, great color, awesome car. Now you gotta watch out for the traffic police, they can be so anal about speeders. The worst states for speeders, that I have been to, is Washington and Ohio. Here, they'll ticket you for doing 10 over without even thinking. Have fun with it though, maybe one of these days I'll take you up on your offer.

[edit] Oh, and if you want a good driving road, then you should take highway 410 up to Mt. Raineer when its warm out, because the pass closes when it starts to snow. But the road is in good condition and has many turns and hairpins. I like to take my Corrado up there once in a while.

Wow, Christian, when I first saw the title and your name I thought: "Cool, he bought himself a nice (maybe 2nd hand) 3series because he needs to save some money first to buy fast cars. Then I accidently scrolled down too much and saw a Z4! :|
It must be a dream come true, from a Corsa directly to a Z4, in only 1 month, I can't imagine what you will be driving in 6 months

Anyway, very happy for you, make videos! Just buy the first digividcam you can find, ask Microsoft to pay for it. :p

Drive safe.

ps. take the Veyron next year

You're lucky you picked Seattle. Otherwise, you would go through the same problem all other new convertible owners (myself included) go through: Driving around with the top off so much that you get burned to a crisp. Being in Seattle, however, you don't need to worry about that!

It is a nice car though. I'm still not used to 'Bimmer' instead of 'Beemer' though.

NTM

Lovely, no doubt this car will provide you with many hours of fun!

I noticed a button in one of the photos labelled "Passenger Air Bag" and a big "OFF" written on the actual button. WTF??

That's usually incase you want to carry a child seat in front. You don't want the air bag to go off then when you're in an accident and kill your kid.

That Z4 is really nice. The color looks beautiful.

Thanks guys :)
Thanks josty, been so long man :)) Yeah I didn't hold back when it came to this car, I just couldn't. Screw the house, I can sleep in this :)

I'm ready to be taken up on my offer, just buzz me before you do :)

The color is indeed great, they told me it's new this year, maybe that's why it's not listed on bmw's website.

The airbag off button is exactly for that, the law requires you to seat your child in the back if you have a passenger airbag. Obviously there is no back seat in the z4 so they have to make it so that you can turn it off for children.

The cd collection is my friend's, the one who came with me and is my room mate. He maybe getting a mini cooper s, that would be fun too because we usually car pool :D

It is indeed a dream come true. I actually spent 10 months with my corsa, what's even weirder is that before that I was using public transportation :) Kinda funny yeah. But don't expect anything more anytime soon :D It's gonna be a steeper hill from now on and I don't think I'm gonna change this baby at least for 3 years or so :)

It is indeed so much fun, I'm not exaggerating when I say that I really really smile everytime I get in behind the wheel. heck, I even smile as a passenger when my friend drives. I will try to shoot some video for you to hear the sound, it's just surreal. But I don't know how I'd host it.

About the roads, it turns out we have a BMW performance team group inside MS, and another driver's group. They regularly post maps and directions to the best driving roads ever in north west. And so many of them drive bmws, or even porsches, so it's a good resource. I could probably help any of you if you're looking for such roads. I am hoping we'd arrange some type of group drive soon. And I'm also planning to subscribe in the BMW club of America, I got the form with the car and I definitely will hop in :))

Once again thanks guys, you're the best gearhead gang ever :)

Ah! Well, that makes a world of sense then...

I think the plastic over the buttons is a good idea. It is there to stop you from pressing them accidentally.

Last time my dad's secretary borrowed his car to go somewhere she tried to reposition the mirror and hit the emergency button on Holden Assist, as the buttons are located along the bottom of the mirror (as shown in the pic).

Unfortunately, as the car is a government executive vehicle, rather then contacting the police it tracks it and sends federal police agents to its position. So she continued to drive along happily until suddenly the car shut down and a couple of cars of feds swarmed around her ordering her out of the car, scaring the hell out of her!

So is apparently VERY careful from now on.
