Jeremy has to drive across mainland Europe/Asia cross over to the US, drive across the US and meet in New York City.

Meanwhile Richard and James have to cross the Atlantic in a non-motorised boat.

Side Note: I said that when they build the US/Russia tunnel between Siberia and Alaska that they should attempt this in one of the other threads.
