It should be, good idea, I'm trying that now :)

--EDIT--
Turned out to be not as good as I first thought it would be, scanned the credits and came up with nothing, they don't have his name in the credits.
This could be considered as evidence for the theory that he's the stig though :p

oh right, sorry  - Well there's no mention of another driver in the credits so I'm presuming he must have been part of the production team perhaps. Maybe one of the Location assistants, "John Grubb" or "Rod Fountain".

The credits say Thanks to:
Bill Robertson
Jon Jeffreys
Simon Watson
Paul Wilson
(and a bunch of companies obviously)

I did a quick Google search on them but couldn't find any super obvious hits.

his name is Rob - I was not told his surname and I asked to the troupe if he was the Stig but, among many smiles, no one told me anything.

he was driving a 90s Vantage for the DVD video from Stratton's (an AM dealer in UK) and I was in the car with him and he just trashed the car left and right as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

Oddily I never felt worried or scared but at ease with him in the driving seat

He complimented my car, especially the gear box. A person of few words but quite kind and down to earth.

More than this I do not know, honest

Well if you were JC then Top Gear would have no presenter anymore, or he has to be driven by Richard..lol Jeremy in the passenger seat.
