As I said in the title, I'm kinda Alzheimer-ish and I forget things.

I have this Kirby-Alarm and it's really useful, but I need something different too, the best should be a little notepad on my desktop where I can read and type instantly, so that I can add things for a to-do-list or something like that.

Know any?

Don't know what to search for either.

Thanks.

Haha yeah thanks both, tried it, and already stopped using it, I need something more simple.

Just a white box that's on the background and if it's possible no taskbar thing that's constantly consuming my precious space there.

you can use outlook - though thats not really "simple", but you can set it not to be on the taskbar, but in the tray bar or whatever you call the place where your clock is etc

or look around on wincustomize.com, a lot of time on the screenshots the guys post there, u see such stuff, maybe u find sth interesting there...

just place a file on your desktop called "todo.txt"
can't be any more simple than that

^No i want even simpler than that, it's not that I don't mind clicking, but I often have a long to do list with short to-do things so I'm going fairly quick through the list, so it's not conveniant to use a notepad, it uses taskbar space as well.

i use rainlendar, and it's pretty good, imo.

you can add reminders on the calendar and stuff, too. it marks that date (red square), and you can add your personal note for it. when the computer starts up on that day, or when the calendar changes to that date if the computer is already on, a notice comes up. if you want to see what that note is, you can just hover the pointer over it, and it'll show.

man, I'll have to check it out too :) I need something to keep me on track. Otherwise, I get scattered and don't get much accomplished except surfing!
