actually my car doesn't have power steering...weights too much and the car is so light it doesnt need it...

Yea, the US specs require a car to withstand a 2.5 mph collision without damage. The elise has a headlight and bumper waiver so it's clams don't comply with that and the headlights aren't sealed...

If I hit something or something hits me it'll cost at least 8k to get it fixed assuming the only thing that is harmed is the clam. Also it takes about 3 months to get it fixed cause there are very few spare clams in the US so they have to be shipped from england and takes em a couple try to get it over here without breaking it.

Thats why if you go to the elise boards one of the rules they tell everyone is to NEVER PARALLEL PARK IT. The elise is short enough that a truck or SUV (one at stock height) can miss it completely because the bottom of the windows are higher then the car. Thats why its a bit more scarier then being in a motorcycle. Or at least I think so.

I'm near Sacramento, Davis is you know where that is...

Yes, I'm a student and I have an elise...like i said earlier...I have two jobs...one of them is head bartender at a high class resturant...
