In august, I work at the Brussels airport on the cargo side.

At the Saudia depot, I saw a Maybach today...(and a Rolls cabrio and a Bentley)

I don't have any photo's, but it looked ugly. It was black, but the sides and the fenders were in white...it looked ridiculous with those superbig shiny pimp rims...the car was styled by something called Arabic-and-something-else.

Funny thing was, the car was not locked...I saw people opening the car and taking pictures

The only people I would allow to touch my Maybach would be none other than BRABUS, its almost as good as sex

Forget the mods - a Maybach is a horrible hideous piece of trash without any help. Not even Brabus can save it.

im sure its very nice inside, but on the outside it looks very forgettable (and perhaps thats the point??)

Once they see somebody else sitting in their cars, they'll start locking them

They probably aren't allowed to lock them. They would have to be checked by customs etc.

Hey Chaos386, are you an Aussie who lives in the US?

Just wondering because of the SS in your pic.

Although you think they would be careful about who has access to them. In Australia we are having all kinds of trouble because of claims of airport and customs workers putting drugs into peoples bags. Imagine how much you could cram into a HUGE Maybach.

Nope, I'm an Arab/German/Greek mix who attends Uni in Saudi Arabia and is currently in the US for summer break. The SS is my affordable dream car, and, since they're sold in Saudia as well, I hope to buy one when the VE model comes out. :D

I think the cars are unlocked to be able to transport them. I don't know if it's the same for exclusive cars like Bentleys and Maybachs, but normal cars have to be driven onto car carriers to take them to dealerships, and I would imagine that's why they're left unlocked until the dealership gets them.

God! I'd hate the know who has been in my cars when they have been on their way to me!

I picked the S-600 up from the factory and drove it back to London, so at least I know that one is clean. Great trip! :p

Reminds me the other day when I saw a HUGE sweaty truck driver in a singlet unloading an E-55 AMG from a transport. I remember thinking "boy I wonder if the guy who will be so happy with his "exclusive" car realises this guy has already had a go in it".
