i can't believe someone hasn't sampled the ghostbusters theme until now. it's easily one of the best theme songs of all time! it's so appropriate that it's sampled for a song about "ghost ridin'". and i like the old skool hip-hop sound of it.

jesus christ... i dont know if I should laugh or cry myself to death.

That's one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I feel like I need a shower now.

Oh, and one of the reasons that song isn't "sampled" more is because Parker Jr. was already sued by Huey Lewis and the News for similarities between his Ghostbuster Theme and their song I Want a New Drug

On the first cut of his new album, that song actually does feature the real ghostbusters beat. Then Warner Bros. sued.

I find it funny that he has to remove any references to thizz, popping ecstasy (same thing) or the actual technique of ghostriding (I guess to absolve himself of lawsuit liability), even though the radio edit of the song doesn't remove any of this stuff.

Seems like hip hop is slowly reaching the point where you need a negative IQ to actually enjoy the music.

Best Sampling Ever:

Maybe Huey Lewis could sue them as well, so I won't have to hear that godawful shit, ever. Hip-hop has become a huge joke.

Also, Huey Lewis and the News just saved this thread.

Personally, I love the ghost riding videos from youtube where people accidentally let their vehicles roll into road signs and ravines. Idiots.

That was my daily dose of GANGSTA!!!1, thanks.

Or that video where the guy's car gets stolen XD

Got to love the San Fransico Bay Area, my old home.

This was passed around to a bunch of my friends awhile back, we are all baseball fans and either were from the Bay Area or went to university there, it makes sense to us, I don't know who these guys are but I laughed my ass off when I first saw it...

Once I saw this I had an urge take my Rover to Vegas with some buddies and ghost ride in front of a casino entrance, and then hand to keys to the valet like nothing happen, allthewhile have someone tape people's reaction. Someday, someday....
