Well i might get a car soon...or atleast use this for future reference...

well whatta u guys would want

Subaru WRX STi
Evo VIII
MAzda RX-8
Infiniti G35..maybe teh AWD one

my debate is it has to be in 30,000 range..sorta safeish...
The Subaru has no feature for leather or anything...and u have to buy a secruity system 0_o and maybe a turbo gauge and such

Evo VIII...well i just like subaru but this has better ad on features and yet it is cheaper then the Subaru..and no i don't want the RS

RX-8 well its sorta small and coupe but yet 4 doors...and i heard it eats oil like crazy..but my dad likes it because of its engine...never knew what roarary was (untill i showed him)

G35 is a good all-around car with perforance and good lookish...nice interior...but i want sorta sportish

if this helps i live in the US...Georgia...ATL!!! (well near it)
 
Personally from those options I would go with the G35, HATE the subaru and Evo, RX-8 is a lovely car too. Are you looking at the G35 coupe or sedan?
 
Forget the Subaru, EVO is better. RX8 is what i'd want. Been in one and it's awesome. A lot of soul to it. EVO is a really GOOD car but I fin it boring. Been in an EVO too, and yes it may be fast as hell, but where is the good looks and the passion?

Now, the G35 surprised me. I was taken out in it at a Merc. dealership in Chicago. I was really looking forward to it but it was a real bad experience. Really boring. The car looks great, has a very good quality feel to it and all that. Thing is, it felt real slow. It was a 2WD Auto, but still. My Puma with 160bhp less feels faster. Also it sounded uncool and is unpractical.

So, EVO if you want to drive like a madman, faster than most, RX8 if you want it all, Speed, great looks, 4 seats, fantastic interior and that certain character.

Try them all, think the G35 will surprise you. I'd never buy one, allthough it's kinda good value for money. :)
 
Er, I guess I'm a bit biased :lol: .
I'd say, don't skimp on the test drives and pick the one that's "feels" like the right choice.
 
I would go for the Subaru.. great car and the sound you get from the Flat Four Boxer engine is amazing
 
i see only 4 Subarus...and prob 2 Evos...

Personally i like the look of Suabru better :p

eh in a few more months i can test drive the car i want...but this is to get some ideas and what to look for when i test drive teh cars
 
Evo or RX8 in my opinion. The Evo is better looking, faster and cooler than the Impreza and the RX8 seems to be a great car, it all depends on what you want.
 
RX8 or G35. I've taken quite some time to warm to the G35, but it's really growing on me. Near where I work there's one that's a pewter-silver colour, really nice. Looks like it's been lowered slightly, has dual exhaust (that could be stock) but it sounds very sweet. Take as many of your picks for a spin, though, and go by that, no what other people tell you.
 
I agree with SIR_dude...take all of them out for a test drive and just get the one you think is the best...but if you want to drive the car everyday... i would stay away from the RX-8...

well... I dunno if you read from my other posts... I own a RX-7 and I am having major problems with reliability and fuel consumption... honestly... if i drove the car everyday... i would be bankrupt by now because of all the things that keeping screwing up (Maybe its because my car is 8 years old :D )... but I've heard its alot better in the RX-8...
 
Sorry Ren... I am currently pissed at Rotary engines :x because I just had to fork out about 500USD to fix the Apex seal on my rotor... but in terms of looks.... nothing beats the RX-8

WTF!? Please type legibly...I cannot make heads or tails of that post!! I have heard some reliablility issues with the new Renesis as well, though. Don't get me wrong, the RX-8 is very sexy looking and I really like the interior, but you won't catch me forking over 30-40k for a car that the manufacturer recommends you check the oil every other gas fill-up. I mean, that's burning some serious oil!!

For me, in that price range, S2000 wins hands down.

Yes you really think my rents would let me get a convertable...thats why i haven't mentioned them at all..anyway its a 2 seater..."insurance" is to high...BAH!
