Ownership Verified: I was looking for a new car. Instead I got a horse...

Was doing a camera test with a new camera holder on the Autobahn today and came up behind a Mercedes C63 AMG. Here's what happened:

I thought he'd pull away faster, especially since I was in 5th and hadn't shifted down into 4th to get the maximum acceleration. So that's what 55 more HP mean under real life conditions.

Gotta be one of the most happiest mustangs, being able to stretch its legs out often. :)

Nice! You kept up with that AMG! I bet he was like "wtf".

What was that? Sorry, I was drooling over a C63 AMG wagon...

My mum's husband has a C-Class... he's 81 years old.

:p

That may be, but the only non-SUV AMG with a hatch we get here is the E-Class. And I just have a soft spot for smaller wagons with far too much horsepower.

So... I socialized with other Mustang owners in the area and every first Sunday of the month we meat for a nice breakfast in a town nearby. Nice people, all of them around my age. No yobos or other unpleasant people.

Looks remarkably civilised.

Apart from ham and cheese for breakfast which is, like, "ew!". ;)

At least it wasn't salted porage* followed by kippers I suppose.

*The traditional Scots spelling.

You couldn't be more wrong :) Just take a look at the name of the place ;-)

It even has a London taxi parked in front of the entrance ;-)

Nah, they have a nice breakfast buffet with the usual stuff: ham and eggs, sausages, mini meat loafs, bread, bagles, boiled eggs, all sorts of wurst, ham and cheese, jams, fruits and cereals. 14 Euros for the all you can eat, coffee or tea included. If you want, you can also have some Prosecco but that'll cost extra.

Did you google the name of the restaurant or how could you tell the town is Wiesmoor? :p
