Cars have absolutely no place at the waters edge even if it's a 4x4 of any type. I was surprised they managed to push it out the first time but that'll need some serious towing.

It looks like shit and doesn't seem to serve any useful purpose IMO. There is a 3 series coupe and convertible already for those who want 2 doors/no roof, it's too big to be a roadster, it's not fast enough to be a supercar.. wtf is its point?

I think it's torque-steer. And I think you are missing the main point here. Even it was oversteering RWD, he still shouldn't be doing it in public places with people walking around.

(Also, seeing his driving skill with RWD he might have been in a lot more trouble)
