I have to post this aswell - at 2:40 he's saying "what a noob" :lol: luckily nothing really happened with that Porsche.

This is caused by stupidity, hence the thread where it was posted.

If you jack your car on the sideskirts or on the bodywork and not on the designated points which are part of the structual frame, this happens.
 
Jack point is indeed there. Or used to be.

I've only jacked the 1300 on the jacking points twice... The second time the jack kept going up and the car stayed firmly on the ground. :lol:

I've since learned it wasn't an uncommon occurrence when the cars were less than 5 years old and that the front subframe and rear diff make for better jacking points and axle stands with blocks of wood to spread the load can be shoved under the sills to add some support.
