If I can't have a BMW, then this would be a reasonable....

If no BMW for me then say hello to DUALLY  ;). I've loved these trucks for a very long time. Any one of them would do with a diesel and a manual.

Gas guzzler++

And pointless unless you do commercial work. A lot of people have these around where I live, and I see no point of them unless you are using them for their main purpose.

So, yeah, I don't see the point in these.

they have a purpose, if not used for that purpose they're just a waste of space & unnecessarily dangerous

but hey, whatever rocks your boat... :p

land cruiser would eat those crap trucks.

Great choices.

I have yet to drive a dually, never found the need for so much space, but they do look mean. I have driven the new F-150, new Sierra, and the new RAM, and they're all kick ass.

The biggest pain I find with these cars is parking, probably because I don't get to spend that much time in them. But man, get one of these on the 401, and floor it to pass someone, you might not be doing Ferrari speeds, but when a truck that big jumps and growls, it feels insane.

If you live in Texas or some place it'll be ok but Canada :bangin: How are the roads there??

Hehe, yeah, those are pretty common here :)

But they're usually muddy or have a horse trailer hooked up to it :)

Smart asses ;).

Yes they are useless but so is an Enzo, SLR, MC-12, etc.

When you are at a stop light and hear that diesel ticking away like a school bus, it makes me .

My dad has a 02 Dodge RAM 1500 Quad Cab Long Bed 4x4 and that thing is a bitch to park.

ah but you see the unused abilities of Enzo et al actually make those cars *safer* on the road (active safety and all that), quite the opposite of these things

I'm no redneck. I just like the sheer power of those trucks. When the new 6.6L Powerstroke comes out of GM it will have 650 ft-lbs of torque . The aftermarket for these trucks will give it even more power.

I guess I'm the minority when it comes to trucks then. Figures.

Dunno how much that truck costs but seems that the CL65 is in another pricerange..;)

These trucks start at 38 grand Canadian and go up to at the most just under 50 grand Canadian. Plus these things have a diesel .

Go out and drive a Dodge Cummins, Ford Power Stroke, or GM Duramax diesel engines and then you will know what I'm talking about. Then go ahead and drive them with the optional 6-speed manual that is available.

I have and it is a totally different league.

And as a comparison, let's do a tug of war and see who wins. 95% of the torque is available at 1600 RPM.
